New Q-Band Artificial Intelligence – Based Chromosome Analysis and Karyotyping – a Pilot Evaluation

This pilot evaluation introduces ASI’s new AI-powered application for Q-banded chromosome analysis and karyotyping. The system achieved 87% correct segmentation and 97% correct placement of peripheral blood and bone marrow chromosomes, significantly reducing manual adjustments compared to conventional methods. Results align with AI performance in G-banded karyotyping, highlighting its potential to improve efficiency and accuracy in cytogenetic workflows.
