This study presents the first Australian evaluation of AI-assisted karyotyping across normal and abnormal metaphases of varying resolutions. Using ASI’s HiBand AI software, the research demonstrates how artificial intelligence improves chromosome segmentation, classification, and workflow efficiency, particularly for low-resolution bone marrow samples.
