Artificial Intelligence is reshaping cytogenetics by supporting faster and more efficient chromosome analysis. In this study from the Islamabad Diagnostic Center, researchers assessed ASI’s computer-aided karyotyping software in routine clinical practice, evaluating its impact on chromosome placement accuracy, analysis time, and laboratory workflow.
The findings highlight AI’s potential to enhance productivity while maintaining expert oversight, demonstrating how intelligent automation can support more efficient and reliable cytogenetic diagnostics.
