Customer Support Specialist

ASI is currently looking for highly motivated and professional Technical Support Specialist to join our unique Customer Support team. We value our customers and consider the support we offer them to be a key differentiator.
This position offers a dynamic environment, technical problem solving and requires 75% travel.

Job Description:

 Perform system installation, calibration and training for customers as well as set up a network of systems at the customer’s international site
 Provide pre-sale support for Sales and Applications departments
 Troubleshoot, fix faults and get root cause analysis
 Streamline new field inputs on applications and customers’ needs
 Write technical documentations
 Maintain ongoing documentation using a CRM system (Salesforce)
 Provide on call support for various customers with various technical issues on a timely and efficient manner
 75% travel to customers

Job Requirements:
 Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Biotechnology, Biology or equivalent
 Prior experience in Cytogenetic or Pathology industries- mandatory
 Knowledge in computers is required- operating systems and networks, servers, PC hardware and software (SQL – Advantage)
 Experience in customer support in the medical field arena, having worked with customers will be considered an advantage
 Prior experience working with CRM will be considered an advantage
 Excellent technical skills are needed- analyzing technical issues and hands-on repair
 Good interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal
 Ability to cope with multiple projects and priorities
 Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
 Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
